Rumored Partnership: Samsung and Google may collaborate to provide free Gemini Advanced subscriptions with the Galaxy S25 series. This offer was discovered during an APK teardown of the Google app beta version 15.52.37.
Enhanced AI Capabilities: The Galaxy S25 series is expected to feature enhanced AI capabilities through the latest One UI 7 operating system. This includes practical features like Car Crash Detection, which enhances user safety.
Different Trial Durations: The trial durations for the Gemini Advanced subscription vary by model. The Galaxy S25 could get three months, the S25 Plus six months, and the S25 Ultra one year of free access.
Neither Samsung nor Google has officially confirmed this offer. The details were found in code strings within the Google app beta version, suggesting the possibility of this offer. More information is expected to be revealed at the Galaxy Unpacked event.

OpenAI has recently announced the launch of its new reasoning models, o3 and o3 mini, during the final session of its "12 Days of OpenAI" event. These models are designed to significantly enhance capabilities in reasoning, coding, and problem-solving.
Key Features of o3 and o3 mini
Performance Improvements: The o3 model has demonstrated remarkable performance in various benchmarks, achieving a score of 96.7% in competitive mathematics and 87.7% in advanced scientific reasoning at the PhD level. It also scored 76% on the ARCAGI assessment, which evaluates a model's ability to dynamically acquire new skills as it encounters different tasks
Deliberate Reasoning: Unlike previous models, o3 employs a method of extended internal deliberation before generating responses. This allows it to tackle complex challenges more effectively, particularly in areas requiring advanced reasoning and intricate coding tasks
o3 mini: Designed as a cost-effective alternative, o3 mini offers three distinct levels of effort and can adjust its reasoning time based on task complexity. This model aims to provide a balance between performance and affordability, making it accessible for a wider range of applications
Availability and Future Plans
OpenAI plans to launch o3 mini and o3 full models by January 2025, with early access applications open until January 10, 2025. The announcement reflects OpenAI's commitment to advancing AI technology while ensuring ethical deployment.
